Learning to Thrive
Learning to Thrive is a new innovative program for Recovery Council of Southeast Texas which is funded by the University of Texas at Austin. Learning to Thrive is a program to help individuals ages 6-24 become healthier and live a happier life.
Learning to Thrive has multiple partnering agencies and organizations to refer individuals based on the needs of the participant. We are closing barriers with substance use disorder, mental health education, therapy and peer support. At Learning to Thrive we believe that social wellness and community activities are a vital part of true resilience. All community activities are free to program members and guardians. Some of the activities participants can participate in at no cost include:

-
Wellness Groups – Stable Spirits Equine therapy, mountain biking, kayak trips
-
Free Social Events – Bowling, Laser Tag, NASA visits, Main Event, Escape Rooms, and Skating Rinks
